Leadership Board of Directors Dr. Jairam Varadaraj, Managing Director- In addition to being a board member of Elgi Ultra Industries Ltd., Elgi Rubber Co., Magna Electro Castings, Precot Meridian Ltd., and Thermax Ltd., Dr. Jairam Varadaraj is the managing director of Elgi Equipments Ltd. Dr. Varadaraj comes from the distinguished business family of LRG Naidu and is an entrepreneur in his third generation. Dr. Varadaraj has been in charge of the organization's business activities in textiles, polymers, mechanical devices, and consumer appliances for almost thirty years. He was conducting research and teaching in the US before this. Non-Executive Independent Directors N Mohan Nambiar- With over 41 years of industrial experience, Mohan Nambiar holds a degree in Economics. He holds the position of Senior Director on the company's board. In addition, he is a director on the boards of The Palani Andavar Mills Ltd. and Lakshmi Apparels and Wovens Ltd. B Vijayakumar- Vijayakumar is the late Sri G.D. Naidu's grandson. He has over 27 years of experience as an industrialist and is a graduate of science. ELGI At The Coimbatore Marathon The ninth Coimbatore Marathon, which will take place virtually in December 2021, is powered by Elgi Equipments. The Coimbatore Cancer Foundation will receive all of the marathon's revenues, which will help to improve the health and well-being of cancer patients and caregivers while also significantly enhancing the foundation's efforts to raise cancer awareness.
