Our product portfolio includes more than 400 products ranging from Centrifugal & Reciprocating Compressors, Oil-Lubricated & Oil-Free Rotary Screw to Dryers, Filters and Downstream Accessories. All these products are used in various industries like manufacturing, construction, food & beverages, textile, pharmaceuticals, etc.

Company History

1960- Establishment of Elgi Equipments.
1975- Becomes a public limited company.
1983-88- Indigenizes the manufacture of rotary screw compressors.
1997- Receives the ISO 9001 certification.
2000- Introduces new generation oil free screw air compressor.
2002- Develops the world's smallest screw air compressor.
2003- Launches tank-mounted rotary screw compressor.
2011- Introduces the first oil-free screw air compressor made in the country.
2012- Launches EN Series screw air compressors.

Acquires Italy-based Rotair S.P.A and US-based Patton's Inc.

2013-14- Starts the Air Center Plant and foundry in Coimbatore.
2018- Purchasing Pulford Air and Gas, a 1925-founded industrial compressor distribution firm with its headquarters in Sydney.
2019- Wins Deming Prize.

Launches AB Series at Hannover Messe ComVac, Germany.
Opens European headquarters in Belgium.

2020- Launches LD Series direct drive piston compressor.

Enhanced its footprint in North America by acquiring Michigan Air Solutions.

2021- PG1250 portable compressors are introduced for the water well drilling sector.
2022- Introduces the diesel-powered PG 575-225 trolley-mounted portable air compressor and the electric-powered PG 110E-13.5 air compressor.

Presents the sophisticated, energy-saving, two-stage, direct-drive, duplex compressor with controller from the LD Series.

2023- Presents Advanced Compressed Air Solutions at Germany's Hannover Messe in 2023.

With a brand-new, cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Coimbatore, India, ELGi Sauer expands its footprint.
